Free Snow Tubing – Blowing Rock

Although a lot of the hills and mountains you drive by tend to be private property (and therefore we do not recommend tubing just anywhere), a couple free options are here: Moses Cone Park in Blowing Rock NC, the crossroad of the Parkway and Shull Mills Road – 1 mile from Main Street Blowing Rock (beside the District Office). Beech Mountain has a free tubing park with snow making capabilities! Park at the Crest of Beech Mountain Parkway where the Sledders park.
